The webinar will include a presentation from Dr. Paul Weiss (Distinguished Professor at UCLA and Editor-in-Chief at ACS Nano) on nanotechnology data reproducibility challenges and needs, and a case study from Dr. Ewan Birney (Director of the European Bioinformatics Institute) on the formation of the MinION Analysis and Reference Consortium, which aims to improve data reproducibility and reliability for the MinION nanopore sequencing device. The webinar will be the capstone event of the Fall 2015 NSI webinar series, tying together the informatics and sensors concepts that we have been discussing over the last few months.

Webinar viewers will be able to submit questions for the panelists to answer during the Q&A period. Questions can also be submitted to webinar@nnco.nano.gov a week prior to the date of the webinar through the end of the event.
